Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyPocketFiles ("the Service"), operated by Steven Andrew Beadle DBA MyPocketFiles, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of MyPocketFiles, including visitors, customers, and anyone who accesses our cloud storage platform.

2. Description of Services

MyPocketFiles provides personal cloud storage services powered by Nextcloud, accessible at cloud.mypocketfiles.com. Services include:

• Personal file storage and retrieval
• Access via web browser, desktop client, and mobile app
• Automatic account provisioning upon successful payment
• Storage quota management based on your subscription tier

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

To use MyPocketFiles you must provide a valid email address. Upon successful payment, your account credentials will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately at steven.beadle@beadlegames.com if you believe your account has been compromised
• One account per customer — you may not share accounts

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Billing & Payments

MyPocketFiles operates on a monthly recurring subscription model. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.

• Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled
• All prices are listed in USD
• Pricing is based on storage tier selected at checkout ($1.50 per 100GB, with bulk rates for larger plans)
• Promotional pricing (such as first-month discounts) applies only to the period stated at checkout
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe's customer portal or by contacting support

5. Storage & Data

Your storage quota is determined by your active subscription tier. You may not exceed your allocated storage limit.

Subscription Lapse & Grace Period: If your subscription payment fails or is cancelled, your account will enter a 7-day grace period. During this period your account will be disabled but your files will be retained. If you resubscribe within 7 days, your account and all files will be fully restored. After 7 days your account and all associated data may be permanently deleted.

• We perform reasonable efforts to maintain data integrity but do not guarantee against data loss
• You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of critical data
• Storage is provided on a best-effort basis — we do not guarantee 100% uptime
• We reserve the right to impose additional storage restrictions if abuse is detected

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MyPocketFiles only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to store, transmit, or distribute:

• Illegal content of any kind
• Copyrighted material you do not have the right to store
• Malware, viruses, or any malicious software
• Content that violates the rights of any third party
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — violations will be reported to law enforcement immediately

We reserve the right to terminate accounts found in violation of this policy without refund and to report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.

7. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• Your payment fails and the grace period expires
• We detect abuse, fraud, or illegal activity
• We discontinue the Service

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting steven.beadle@beadlegames.com. Upon termination, your data will be deleted after the 7-day grace period.

8. Limitation of Liability

MyPocketFiles and Steven Andrew Beadle DBA MyPocketFiles are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of the Service
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days prior to the claim
• We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by factors outside our control, including power outages, internet disruptions, or hardware failures

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability — in such cases the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers via email.
