We collect the minimum information necessary to provide cloud storage services:

• Email address — provided at checkout, used to create your account and send credentials
• Name — provided at checkout, used as your Nextcloud display name
• Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, or banking details
• Files you upload — stored on our servers solely to provide the storage service to you
• Basic server logs — IP addresses and access timestamps for security and abuse prevention

We do not collect browsing history, track your behavior across other websites, or build advertising profiles.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively to:

• Create and manage your cloud storage account
• Send you account credentials and service notifications
• Process recurring subscription payments via Stripe
• Respond to support requests
• Detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage & Security

Your files are stored on enterprise-grade servers located at our facility. We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data including:

• SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Secure server infrastructure with access controls
• RAID storage arrays to protect against drive failure
• Restricted physical and network access to servers

While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. We recommend maintaining your own backups of critical files.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your information only with:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data (stripe.com/privacy)
• Law enforcement — only when required by valid legal process or when we detect illegal content (such as CSAM)

That's it. No analytics companies, no advertisers, no data brokers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

• Active accounts: Your files and account data are retained for the duration of your subscription
• Cancelled or lapsed accounts: A 7-day grace period applies after cancellation or payment failure. Your files are retained but your account is disabled during this period. Resubscribing within 7 days restores full access
• After grace period: Your account and all associated files are permanently deleted
• Payment records: Basic transaction records are retained as required for accounting and legal compliance

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Portability — export your files at any time through your Nextcloud account
• Cancellation — cancel your subscription at any time

7. Cookies

Our main landing page (mypocketfiles.com) does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. The Nextcloud platform at cloud.mypocketfiles.com uses session cookies solely to maintain your login state. These cookies are essential for the service to function and are not used for tracking.

8. Children's Privacy

MyPocketFiles is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at steven.beadle@beadlegames.com and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We will notify active subscribers of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
